Camping Cabins & Campground

Sleepy Eye Lake, Camping Cabins & Campground:
Campsite rental is $30/night, plus tax ** Camping cabin rental is $65/night, plus tax.
Starting February 1st camping reservations will be on-line only. Our new camping reservation system will be up and running then.
Payment must be made in FULL. No Refunds.

Sleepy Eye Sportsmen’s Park Campground:

24 campsites with electric hookups and water
2 camping cabins
- You need to bring your own bedding for the camping cabins
- No pets or smoking is allowed inside the cabins
Ample room for tenting in the park
Shower and bathroom facility
Dump station
Ground grills

Other park amenities:

Large Picnic shelter with bathrooms
Picnic shelter exclusively for campers, reservations required, no fee for campers
Playground equipment
Bike rentals (Seasonally)
Bike trail (We work to have it open all year)
Boat launch
Fishing piers
Scenic lookout platform

Directions to Sportsman’s Park are as follows:
from US Highway 14 take State Highway 4 north out of Sleepy Eye and the park is located on the west side of the road, on the north shore of Sleepy Eye Lake. The park is open from May 1 through October.

Sleepy Eye Lake Trail

The Sleepy Eye Lake Bike Trail is a 3.12 mile paved bike trail that goes around the perimeter of Sleepy Eye Lake, and it is used year around. The trail has access points in Allison Park on the south side of the lake, and in Sportsmen's Park on the north side of the lake. Both of these areas are handicap accessible.

Sleepy Eye Medical Center has also made available bikes for rent in Sportsmen's Park next to the boat landing.
