Sportsmen's Parks
Located on the north side of Sleepy Eye Lake. Amenities at the park include: Kayak and Paddle board rentals, Disc golf, three fishing docks, a public boat launch, playground, Sleepy Eye Lake Trail access for walking/running & bicycles. A large covered shelter with rest rooms, bathhouse which includes rest rooms with separate showers are also available. Leashed pets are allowed in park. On site dumping station. 1000 3rd Ave NW. Allison Park
Located on the south side of Sleepy Eye Lake. It has two playgrounds (well technically you could say it has three playgrounds, the Tote Lot is located in the southeast corner of Allison Park), sand volleyball, basketball court, and five shelters. It is within walking distance of a swimming beach, and fishing pier. The Bike/Walking Trail also goes through the park. 500 4th Ave N.W. |
Kiefer Park
Located in the northeast section of Sleepy Eye it offers a softball field, tennis courts (which are also striped for pickle ball), a basketball court, playground area, a covered picnic shelter, and restrooms. No concession stand on site, there is a drinking water faucet available. Please plan appropriately. 400 Emmerich St N.E. |
Water Park
Located in the southeast section of Sleepy Eye, next to Burnside Park. This park is home to Sleepy Eye Family Aquatic Center. See our Family Aquatic Center page for more information. 201 Burnside St S.E. |
Prairie View Park
Located in the southwest part of Sleepy Eye, just a few blocks south of Eagles Park, it has two adjoining softball fields, playground equipment, a covered shelter with picnic tables, & restrooms. A concession stand is on site, however the volunteer group that runs the stand may not have it open for all games. There is a drinking water faucet on site. Veteran's Park
Located in downtown Sleepy Eye. It contains a Veteran's Memorial Wall with names of servicemen past and present that have served in the US military. It also is the home to the KIA Monument with the names of those men who were from Sleepy Eye and gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service to their country. The military branches are represented by the individual flags flying in the park, as well as the United States and POW/MIA flags. |
