City of Sleepy Eye Citizen Advisory Boards, Committees, & Commissions
Sleepy Eye has several advisory boards, committees, and commissions that offer citizens an opportunity to volunteer their education, experience, skills, abilities, and interests to the city government. Participation on these volunteer teams also provides citizens with the ability to learn about their government and how it functions.
Below are the various boards, committees, and commissions and the citizens currently serving on them, the terms, and how often they meet. The term ends the last business day of the year
If you wish to volunteer for one of these teams you must be a resident of the City of Sleepy Eye proper to be eligible. You must also abide by the Code of Conduct for Elected and Appointed Officials, see link below.
Volunteers are approved by the City Council as needed.
