Scooter Rental

To rent:

• Download the Levy app from your app store.
• Use the app to find scooter location. Currently located at Sportsman's Park by the bicycle rental.
• In the app you need to set up the wallet to pay for your ride. See Security Suggestion below right.
• Once you have "My wallet" set up with money in it, scan the QR code at the top of the scooter panel, see picture below.
  Or select the scooter in the app to unlock and begin your trip.
• Liability: you are liable for the scooter if lost or stolen while you are on your trip. When stepping away from the scooter you can lock it using the app; although you should still keep it within eyesight.
• In the app are tutorials "How to ride?" and "How to park?" which gives basic information for the scooter; such as take a picture of the scooter when you are done with your trip, that you returned it properly and without damage.
• NOTE: The scooter is automatically set at a reduced speed (12 mph max) while on the bike trail. Outside of this area the scooter will operate at 17 mph max or 27 kmh (kilometers)
  The screen on the scooter reads in kilometers.
  
• There are two other drop off locations in Sleepy Eye, Veteran's Park and the Family Aquatic Center. If a scooter has been dropped off at these locations, they are available to rent from that location.
  
• You can use the app to locate any Levy scooters around the US.

Security suggest:
Purchasing a VISA gift card, (maybe one you can put more money on, re-loadable) use this card for rental of scooters or bicycles or kayaks/paddle boards. This is a more secure way to rent. The amount on the card is limited so if someone steals the number they won't get your personal card with a larger limit on it.
