Park Shelter Rental:
  • Shelters are on a first come first serve basis unless there is a paid reservations. All City Park Shelters may be reserved. Renters should carry their receipts showing payment in case there are any questions on the day of the rental.
  • Reservations must be paid for when made, age limit is 18 or older, at City Hall during regular business hours, see top of page for hours and phone number.
  • $30.00 for daily reservation for all park shelters
NO REFUND POLICY: payments for shelters will not be refunded.
  • Large shelters hold approximately 15 to 20 picnic tables
  • Smaller shelters have approximately 4 picnic tables
  • City Ordinance forbids glass containers in our parks.
  • All City Parks close at 10:00 pm, unless an extended time permit is obtained.
  • All shelters have electricity. Due to vandalism there are no light bulbs in the fixtures, you must bring your own.
We ask that you collect all garbage and place it in the proper containers before leaving the park.
Sportsman's Park Lakeview Shelter
The shelter is first come, first serve unless a reservation has been made, see information at top of page. If you are camping, the shelter is free to use even if making a reservation.

Sportsman's Park Large Shelter
The shelter is first come, first serve unless a reservation has been made, see information at top of page.
This shelter is open to the public. If campers desire to reserve this shelter they will have to pay the standard charge, only the Lakeview shelter is free to campers.

  • Buffet shelf along back wall with electrical outlets
  • Two raised grills for cooking food
  • Restrooms
  • Playground adjacent to shelter

Allison Shelter #1

This shelter is open to the public.
  • 15 to 20 picnic tables
  • Buffet shelf along the east wall with electrical outlets
  • Lean-to area off the back. This was built by the Sportsman's Club. They use this area to grill hamburgers for their fundraisers.
  • Shelter is closed in on three sides for more weather protection.
  • Due to vandalism there are no lights in the shelter. If you want to bring your own, you may install them yourself.
